Manhattan Dark

I like the silhouettes of the buildings in Manhattan. I like to imagine my father’s life among those skycrappers, the heart of the city beating with different paces under the shroud of different times. Gershwin is always present, it does not matter the year or the season, and one thing is also constant: the predominance of black and grey colors, the realm of darkness. It is not a creepy ambiance, however. It is just a “mood”. I captured this scene from the Brooklyn Bridge, when the early sunset of this early winter was turning on the lights on Manhattan. I post-processed the photo to show the Gotham City that I imagined, my vision, the evening of a place that I love so much.
