I’m going to have surgery tomorrow. Though I am using my right hand to write this post now, I do not have the certainty that I would be able to write anytime soon. The worst part is that I am not sure when I will be able to take my cameras out to take photos. After my shoulder was dislocated, I noticed that I was not able to raise my arm. The doctor told me I tore a couple tendons and my bycep suffered an injury too. So I think this is a good time to publish something before tomorrow.
These are personal scenes, moments around our neighborhood, our city, that I just want to share with you as a parenthetical. I hope to be back with the blog soon. I would like to continue with my series using 35mm and medium format film. Likewise, I have some plans to open a new website with my photography work, something like a portfolio. And though I don’t consider myself a professional in the strict sense of the word – because I do not make photos for living – I believe that I have some interesting works to share. I’ll see. For now, just a “see you soon” is enough.
Disfruto siempre mucho de tus fotos, Emilio. Están cargadas de intensidad y belleza
